No one working for me would expect the same income as me because I have used all of my own hard earned cash to build the business, I am taking all of the risk and providing the framework for the business. I get the contracts, I work the contracts but I train people in the company to advance themselves, pay well over the odds, have a pension scheme and health care scheme and a bonus scheme for them and they are more then happy.
But all of the risks are mine, if the company folds I lose everything I have worked my entire life for whereas my employees would still have the homes and savings they now have thanks the employment I give them; I would have nothing - that is the risk and that is the higher reward that comes with it.

Learn some economic basics before you try to start arguing with an economist. That is why it is liable to Capital Gains Tax not Income or Corporation Tax. Even then because of the recognition that it cannot be an actual Capital Gain if it is your main residence you only pay Capital Gains Tax if it is a second home, not your principal residence. Moreover, if you buy anything and its Value appreciates you COULD sell it for more money and make a Capital Gain. On that basis EVERYONE would be a Capitalist, because everyone buys things, and they all could potentially go up in Value!
Even orthodox economics defines Capital as something that is used productively. The house you live in is not used productively, unless you use it to run a business from.

No one working for me would expect the same income as me because I have used all of my own hard earned cash to build the business, I am taking all of the risk and providing the framework for the business. I get the contracts, I work the contracts but I train people in the company to advance themselves, pay well over the odds, have a pension scheme and health care scheme and a bonus scheme for them and they are more then happy.
But all of the risks are mine, if the company folds I lose everything I have worked my entire life for whereas my employees would still have the homes and savings they now have thanks the employment I give them; I would have nothing - that is the risk and that is the higher reward that comes with it.

That leaves 40 million PEOPLE living in owner-occupied accommodation. In fact, that figure at 66.6% is 10% higher than the original 60% I quoted! A figure I will remind you that is not my figure, not even just the Government’s figure based on official census statistics – and why would people when they complete the census SAY they own their home when they don’t! – but is also the figure agreed by the Building Societies, the Chartered Surveyors etc.

Moron. This doesn’t even make grammatical let alone logical sense. For one thing if you sell a house for more than you paid for it, it is in economic terms a Capital Gain not a Profit. Learn some economic basics before you try to start arguing with an economist. That is why it is liable to Capital Gains Tax not Income or Corporation Tax. Even then because of the recognition that it cannot be an actual Capital Gain if it is your main residence you only pay Capital Gains Tax if it is a second home, not your principal residence.
Moreover, if you buy anything and its Value appreciates you COULD sell it for more money and make a Capital Gain. On that basis EVERYONE would be a Capitalist, because everyone buys things, and they all could potentially go up in Value!
Even orthodox economics defines Capital as something that is used productively. The house you live in is not used productively, unless you use it to run a business from.
